In *Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light*, Seto Kaiba uses Blue-Eyes White Dragon as part of his deck. During his duel against Yami Yugi, Kaiba summons Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon, both with 4500 Attack Points. The Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon is a new card Kaiba obtained from Maximillion Pegasus after defeating him in a duel. Later in the film, Yami Yugi takes control of Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon and uses it to destroy the Pyramid of Light card. At the climax, Yugi and Yami summon Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon to defeat Anubis after he transforms into a monster. The film's plot involves Kaiba's determination to defeat Yugi, which drives him to seek new cards from Pegasus.

In Their Own Story

Kaiba forces Yami Yugi into a duel at his Duel Dome, using cards obtained from Pegasus. During the duel, Kaiba's Deck Destruction Virus sends more than half of Yami's deck to the Graveyard. Kaiba's Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon and Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon drop Yami's Life Points to 200. When Kaiba attempts to destroy the Pyramid of Light card, Anubis materializes, casts Kaiba aside, and takes command of the duel. Yami Yugi then uses Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon to destroy the Pyramid of Light card. Later, after Anubis transforms into a monster, Yugi and Yami summon Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon to defeat Anubis for good.
